Progressive: In Reggio Emilia, LignoAlp has realised Villa MR, a private residential building characterised by modern and functional architecture. Studio LSA has designed a residential building characterised by contemporary forms and a futuristic overall appearance.
At the centre of the architectural concept was the search for an essential and sober architecture that is able to interact with its surroundings. At the same time, the building should also be perceived as a new, modern object. By using the extremely weight-saving technology of timber frame construction, LignoAlp was able to provide a customised response to the design requirements. The project was a major challenge for the team, which was mastered with the utmost care in planning and execution.
