A village made of wood for Zucchetti Spa

In line with the motto "renovation before new construction", offices for the Zucchetti software house are being built in the Lombardy town of Lodi. The Milan-based architecture firm Lombardini 22 planned the regeneration and expansion of a derelict shopping centre. LignoAlp has realised the timber construction for a 6-storey office tower.

Headquarters Zucchetti Spa

An emblematic case of complex and significant redevelopment where wood is the leading actor.

The chosen design of the load-bearing structure and an ingenious approach to lifting and positioning the elements made it possible to build a storey with approx. 300 cubic metres of timber and 1,200 square metres of floor space in 15 working days. This guaranteed rapid construction progress, high quality workmanship and adherence to the planned budget.
