On 27 October 2018, our country was hit by a violent storm that toppled millions of trees and destroyed tens of thousands of hectares of forest. In the summer of 2023, the Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento returned to the scene of the disaster and filled the forests, meadows and peaks with orchestral sounds.
Beatrice Venezi, former principal guest conductor of the Orchestra della Toscana and chief conductor of the Orchestra Milano Classica, conducted the Haydn Orchestra, which played the Symphony No. 6 "Pastorale", one of Ludwig van Beethoven's most popular works.
